Responsible for the British Video Association marketing and communication strategy as well as organisational and budget responsibility for BVA events including annual research day, the prestigious BVA awards and the AGM. Successfully lead a cross studio marketing campaign to promote the Blu-ray disc and co-ordinated the industry marketing and communications plan for the launch of UltraViolet in the UK.
*The British Video Association is the trade body which represents the interest of film and television companies and independent labels who distribute video entertainment. The video industry in the UK is worth over £2.2bn annually.

A highly successful nine month secondment to oversee ITV studios video releases including, development of sales and marketing plans including p&l analysis with full budgetary and creative control, briefing media agencies, sales teams and PR agencies as well as formal presentations to retailers.
*ITV studios, part of ITV PLC, sell, market and distribute ITV content and third-party acquisitions on video in the UK.

Universal Music UK
Overall strategic responsibility for music DVD and audio-visual products in the UK and delivered sales revenue in excess of budget as well as developing a new pricing structure which subsequently delivered improved profitability, and an increase in value market share resulting in Universal becoming the number one distributor in the genre.

Overall responsibility for all UK company sales, marketing and distribution activities which included the planning and execution of numerous award winning marketing campaigns.
In addition undertook a review of video manufacturing and distribution requirements that resulted in significant annual savings.

Uniquely responsible at First Independent Films for the company’s marketing activity across all elements of the marketing mix in all distribution channels, i.e. theatrical, video rental and video retail. Instrumental in successful departmental restructuring in addition to managing sales, marketing and PR teams as well as external agencies.
